Champagne Zero Brut Nature

46,00

In the hills of the Vallée de la Marne, where time and land are expressed through vines, Tarlant’s Zero Brut Nature Champagne is born. A perfect balance between freshness and depth: its golden color with greenish reflections anticipates delicate aromas of honey and lemon. On the palate, citrus and pastry notes are intertwined in a clean and persistent sip. The vineyards from which this champagne comes have their roots in a mosaic of ancient soils, including fossils, sand and gypsum, to which are added the vines on foot of the Vineyard of Antan, which tell their secular history. Champagne Tarlant: a work of craftsmanship, a sip of territory.

The farm is located in Oeuilly, on the left bank of the Vallée de la Marne. The winery covers 14 hectares of vineyards divided into 57 parcels that are vinified separately. Among these, there is the prestigious Vineyard of Antan whose wines are on a free-standing basis having survived the Phylloxera epidemic thanks to the sandy soil in which the insects cannot survive. Production does not exceed 120,000 bottles. The most common grapes cultivated of the area are: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, but also other minor wines with which Benoit experiments new vinifications. The soils of the vineyards are many, usually composed of fossils, sand, clay, limestone, gypsum and rock.
