Nerina comes from Etna, a place of flames and dust, of vineyards that survive the breath of the volcano. Here, among dark soils and saline breezes, the Carricante and the historic Sicilian grapes express their essence. The wine is clear, pervaded by golden shades that evoke the sun of the South. The nose has a touch of flowers and wild plants, a hint of citrus and light fruit. In mouth flows delicate, between salty flavors and pulsating freshness, like a wave that sweeps from the mountain to the sea. Making wine on Etna is an act of love, intimate, deep and without end. Love for the places of our becoming adults. Love for a land that feeds and does not ask, that holds and does not leave and that makes grow everything that wants to stay. It’s a harsh land full of lava that does not calm down, a land of magma that drops and opens and faints and then, tired, it seeks peace and becomes a stone monster, a moon landscape that brings the memory of fire.
Light yellow colour with golden reflections. The fragrances are floral with hints of citrus, white fruit and herbs. The flavour is delicate with fruity and salty notes and a fresh finish.
