Wolves once roamed daily among the vineyards of Valcalepio, protectors of a proud and rich land. Today, instead of wolves, in those lands grow the clusters of Rosso del Lupo, a wine that contains the air of the forest and the heat of the sun of Bergamo. Its color evolves over time, from an intense garnet to a brilliant ruby red, while the aroma develops notes of currant, licorice and tobacco. The mouthfeel is powerful, well-built, with refined tannins and a balsamic freshness that extends its longevity. A wine that tells stories of family, territory and patience.

Our company was founded in 2000 from the dream of Tosca and Marco Locatelli to bring back to ancient splendor their wineyards, always dedicated to viticulture. Today, a large part of the second generation is also operating in the winery, particularly through its sons Romildo, Francesco and Mainardo. Tosca’s agricultural reality is mainly linked to the production of wine, from the grapes we feed directly on the almost 9 hectares of wineyards.
The colour expresses the increasing intensity of this wine over time, ranging from garnet to intense ruby red. The taste is well structured with ripe tannins and notes of red fruit, good freshness and balsamic persistence. The fragrances are vegetal, with notes of currant, licorice, chocolate, leather and tobacco.
