At 1200 metres above sea level, where the wind blows the rows and the snow guards the vineyards, the Blanc de Morgex et de la Salle comes to life. It is an intense wine, born in the mountains, from the Prié Blanc grown on the slopes of Mont Blanc. Its straw yellow color shines like the light that is reflected on the snow-covered peaks. The thin perlage moves in the glass, giving off aromas of apple, mistletoe and almond, with a touch of resin. The mouthfeel is fresh and lively, with citrus accents and a sharp minerality, an unmistakable sign of its territory of origin. A taste is an experience between stones, breeze and bright blue.
Founded in 1983 and today has about eighty members which are passionate winegrowers with small vineyards at the foot of Mont Blanc. The viticulture here could be called extreme, with some of the highest wines in Europe located at 1200m s.l.m. With the aim of ensuring the best authenticity between vine and terroir. Cave Mont Blanc adopts an enological philosophy designed to guarantee the Blanc de Morgex et de la Salle the maximum expression of its characteristics.
Bright straw yellow colour, with fine and persistent perlage. The nose has aromas of fruit such as apple and medlar, with notes of almond and resin. The palate is fresh and enveloping with notes of citrus and flint and strong minerality.
