Cantina del Pino is a winegrowing company that has been established in the prestigious area of Barbaresco. A family dedicated to viticulture for a long time, bottlers since 1997, but deeply linked to the vineyard from long before. The history of Cantina del Pino is intertwined with that of none other than Domizio Cavazza, who conceived and made great the Barbaresco within and beyond national borders. Today it has 7 hectares of property, mostly concentrated in the cru Ovello, in Barbaresco, with some smaller plots in the hill of Albesani and Gallina, in the municipality of Neive. In Ovello stands a large secular pine tree from which this winery takes its name.
The nose is distinguished by a succession of notes of juicy red fruits, combined with more tertiary aromas of leather, coffee, graphite, dried violet, licorice and light spices. In the mouth it is round and elegant, balanced by a thick tannin and enhanced by a long balsamic finish.
