Almost 150 years have passed since its birth. It was the end of 1800 when Carlo Vietti created, in the heart of the Langhe, on the highest point of the medieval village of Castiglione Falletto, the Vietti’s winery. In the same place where it is today.
Ruby red colour with aromas of ripe cherries and vanilla. Notes of violet and rounder structure than Barbera d’Asti Tre Vigne. Bright acidity and sweet tannins on the palate with a balanced presence of wood. Good complexity and persistent cherry finish.
