From the beating heart of the hills of Alba, cradle of timeless oenological traditions, comes this Barbera signed Ceretto: a wine that tells with passion its land and its history. Each bottle is the result of a careful harvest, where the balance between perfect maturation and natural freshness gives life to a wine with character, enveloping during time but never simple. The nose opens with a rich and deep bouquet, in which the ripe cherry and red fruits are intertwined with delicate spicy notes of black pepper and a slight balsamic scent. It is an olfactory invitation that promises an intense and fulfilling taste experience. The palate is full and soft, thanks to velvety tannins that caress the mouthfeel and a lively acidity that gives freshness and dynamism. The finish is long, balanced and fruity, leaving a pleasant and persistent memory.

The Ceretto winery was born in the 1930s: Riccardo Ceretto, who did not own vineyards, used to buy grapes from others. The turning point coincided with the entry into the company of his sons Bruno and Marcello, who brought with them an innovative thought for the time: the importance of the land. The Ceretto family is a group with a shared vision, which makes collegial decisions, guided by respect for competence: we give the tools to those who have a contribution to make – to the company and to the territory – to affirm their vision.
Ruby red colour with aromas of ripe cherries and vanilla. Notes of violet on the nose and rounder structure. Bright acidity and sweet tannins on the palate with a balanced presence of wood. Good complexity and persistent cherry finish.
