In the heart of Irpinia, in the municipality of Tufo or, more precisely, in the hamlet of San Paolo, the winery Benito Ferrara maintains active his wine production. A family business started at the beginning of the last century where dedication to work in the vineyard joins tradition. More precisely, this Aglianico DOC is born in the municipality of Montemiletto, where the company owns the hectares of vineyards intended for the production of red. A pleasant wine, well structured, which reveals all the characteristics of the beautiful land from which it comes.

Five centuries ago the Ferrara family lived in the lands of Tufo, in the heart of Campania. The land has always been heard by them, understood and brought to fruition. The company Benito Ferrara has ancient roots, dating back to the beginning of the last century. From 2.5 hectares today extends to 25 hectares. All the vineyards are located in the municipality of Tufo, in the hamlet of San Paolo for the production of Greco and in the municipality of Montemiletto for the production of Aglianico.
Harvest: beginning of October
Vinification: pressing of the grapes and with 2/3 of maceration, daily remixing until unripping, fermentation of the must in stainless steel
Ageing: 100% stainless steel for about 5/7 months
Post ageing: in bottle
