From the gentle hills of the Langhe, where the winery of Albino Rocca is located, the nebbiolo is born. A red wine for a pleasant meal, light to the eye. Giacomo Rocca, the founder, who started the winemaking activity, passed on to his son Albino (from whom the company takes its name) and after him his son Angelo, we come to the present days of family management of the company. For four generations the Roccas have found the same dedication in extracting the noblest soul from the vineyards located in the incredible territory of Barbaresco, Piedmont.
The color is ruby red, slightly garnet. The nose is clean and punctual, with hints of violet and ripe plum initially, then turn on underbrush notes and spicy nuances. The palate is dry and rightly tannic, of good balance and structure, long in persistence.
The vinification takes place for 4-5 days only and exclusively in steel.
